Die Ankerklause – Berlin

winter-drinks-berlin-ankerklause-375x375

Maritime gimmicks and sailor’s yarn meets urban style. The Ankerklause definitely delivers what it promises. Customers at the café/bar/small restaurant are laid-back– just as you would expect from Berliners. Located at the Landwehrkanal, directly between Kreuzberg and Neukölln, the Ankerklause calls itself Berlin’s most beautiful harbour bar without a harbour nearby. Instead, the Ankerklause provides a large terrace, hovering over Landwehrkanal. A perfect spot, even in winter, as the terrace is heated!

Start with a Berliner Winter, or Grog, on cold wintery days. If you prefer non-alcoholic beverages, you can always opt for freshly brewed mint- or ginger tea. Also, all speciality coffees are available with a little extra kick – anyone for a shot of Baileys?

A well-stocked menu with breakfast offerings as well as dishes for lunch or dinner guarantee that no one needs to disembark hungry.

An ideal start to your Berlin night out or the perfect spot to enjoy a Sunday breakfast.
