The options in Frankfurt to go for a nice meal and to celebrate are great. I love the variety and
therefore I have no favourite pub, but enjoy above all changing events, Pop-Up restaurants and
I’m The weekly market on
the Friedberger Platz becomes in the evening a social meeting place. From 10 am till 8 pm, 15 food
stalls, wine stands, as well as a Greengrocer and a flower seller invite you to the weekly
shopping. After rush hour, the place is filling up, people are dressed up chic and are relaxed.
Many bring their own bottle of wine to meet up with friends after work or have an aperitif to
start the evening. I am especially
pleased that there is an after work evening with live music in the city. Schiller market in
the Schillerstraße near the stock exchange offers around 41 markets since 1996 and is a popular
meeting place for a fresh lunch or just for after work. The market is open from 9-18:30; but a
glass of wine keep many slightly longer on the lit Exchange. The best parties
take place in the kitchen as we know. The team of the Genussakademie understands this and organize
very special After Work events. Every first Wednesday of the month from 18: 00 a different
3-course menu on a particular topic is prepared. To join the artistic After Work event has 15 Euro entrance fee and
includes the entry, a guide and a free drink. The location changes each week, on the first three
Thursdays of the month. Event locations are the Städel Museum, the Liebighaus-sculpture collection
and the Schirn Kunsthalle. The mix of art, intellectuals and people who take perhaps otherwise no
time to go to the Museum, make the discussions with a glass of wine all the more interesting.

That is exactly what makes the mood and the atmosphere of the former cinema. The Gibson Club is
currently the most popular Club in Frankfurt.
Because of the large crowds at the dressing room I would not recommend to take a coat. The wait
however is worth it. On Thursday the Urban Club band plays. People from Frankfurt known this
formation for a long time from the previous “Kingka Club” on the Hanauer Landstraße.
Even now, it’s still something extraordinary, to dance to live music in a club in Frankfurt.
The band manages to get the crowd going and every week internationally renowned artists join the
band.
The entrance is free of charge until 21: 00.

Helping the chef is not compulsery, but you can watch the chefs in a relaxed atmosphere. A nice
event for an acceptable price (49,00 EUR per person ).
