Ice-cream Café Caramello – Homemade, Vegan and Delicious!

Caramello-375x375 In the organic ice-cream café Caramello you will find daily changing home-ade vegan ice-cream – and, hurray, not only fruity options! Varieties like chocolate – with organic chocolate rice milk – and stracciatella, can just as easily be found as the more common vegan options like Mango, Strawberry and Banana. Also the ice-cream cones are vegan and organically certified.

The flavours on offer change from day to day, which makes it exciting to come back and try new ones. I personally hoped for the espresso ice-cream, which was recommended by a friend, but unfortunately this flavour was not there. A good reason to come back again!

In hot weather, the refreshing Acai-Smoothie is a real treat. Not too sweet, really fruity and very healthy! In Caramello all the ice-cream flavours can be mixed into wonderful smoothies. At € 3,80 they are not very cheap, but well worth it.

Keep in mind that when the weather is good, you will surely have to queue – but a bit of time is a small sacrifice when keeping the reward and the friendly staff in mind.

There are limited seating possibilities inside, and in front of, the ice-cream café. But of course it is more fun to enjoy your ice-cream during a stroll on the Boxhagener Kiez!
