Hot Dog Soup – Berlin
Hot Dog Soup – The best Hot Dogs in Berlin
In the Gruenberger Strasse, in the immediate vicinity
of the aforementioned Sudanese Takeout, “Nil”, you will find “Hot Dog Soup”.
The small takeout claims to have “the best hot dogs and soups in town!”, and this might actually be
true. The, perfect for snacking, creative hot dog creations are really hard to beat.
Since „Hot Dog Soup“ is not purely vegan, you have to make a remark while ordering. When you do, you
will receive the great toppings on one of the finest, high quality, organic tofu sausages. Next to the
classic Hot Dog with fried onion and pickled cucumbers, a special recommendation is the Hot Dog
“Brasil” with tomatoes, paprika, onion, fresh coriander and chili sauce – Yum!
For who likes it hot & spicy, (and then we mean really hot and spicy ;)), should order the vegan
Hot Dog „Red Hot Chili“, topped with red chilies and fresh cucumbers. A more exotic Hot Dog option
would be the „Hawaii” with pineapple, Sweet-Chili-Sauce and fried onions.
As the name of the takeout indicates you can also find daily changing soups, 2 or 3 of them will be
vegan. The soups are served with fresh potato bread and are a real treat, especially in fall and
winter.
„Hot Dog Soup” has limited seating possibilities and especially with more than 10 guests at the time,
it will get very cosy. In the summer months you will also have the possibility to make yourself
comfortable outside, in front of the small store.
