Bistro Bardot in the Almodóvar Berlin
Bistro Bardot
Even if you are not staying at Hotel Almodovar, you should
pay a visit to the restaurant on the ground floor. Bistro Bardot offers pure vegetarian mediterranean
cuisine, prepared with organic ingredients. Vegan dishes are of course marked, and just ask the
friendly staff who’ll gladly assist you with your choice.
For starters, the tapas are highly recommended. Here you can choose from delicious creations like
‘Andalusian hummus, marinated peppers, chickpeas bread on a fruity tomato relish’, or ‘Stuffed dates
wrapped into smoked tofu’.
Our main course recommendation is the “Paella Valenciana”, which can also be ordered as a platter for
two. To ensure the mediterranean flair with only vegan ingredients, the kitchen had to become
creative. They used a combination of fresh mushrooms, bell peppers and smoked tofu and wakame seaweed,
and the result really has to be praised. Not just looking for vegan dishes, but want to give raw food
a try? The courgette pappardelle with chili-tomato sauce and flaxseed-crackers is absolutely
delicious. Note: All dishes are served with homebaked bread.
Make sure to leave room for dessert. Here we suggest you try the ‘Tarte Almendras’. The Spanish almond
cake is served with fruity orange sorbet. After this delicious menu, you can end your night inthe
stylish restaurant bar with a good wine or fancy cocktail.
The price level is rather high in comparison to other places in the Friedrichshain neighbourhood, but
the quality of the dishes and the high-end ambiance absolutely justify the cost. .
