Bora Bora the Hotel is situated at only 7 minutes walking distance of the wonderful ‘Playa de las Canteras’, which is a huge stretch of golden sand located right in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. More than 3 kilometres long, it is a popular choice for tourists as well as residents of the city and it is protected by a natural reef called La Barra. This allows visitors to enjoy a swim in tranquil waters while surfers ride the waves in the south tip 

People flock to this fantastic beach because it has ideal conditions for all kinds of water sports, provides a safe sandy environment for families and is simply a great place to relax in the sunshine. Along the beach is the bustling Paseo de las Canteras promenade where you will find lots of shops, open-air restaurants, snack bars and cafés. Sit and enjoy some tapas, people-watch over a cool drink and be amused by the street entertainers.

If you walk 5 minutes from the hostel in the opposite direction of las Canteras Beach, you get to the important Port of Las Palmas, which is the fourth most important Port of Spain, being a connection point with the rest of the Canary Islands and Europe.

The Bora Bora Hostel features a great location in the heart of Las Palmas and stands out for its modern design and comfort equipment. There is a Reception desk, a Lounge with flat screen TV of 46´, a business centre with free Wi-Fi , a Solarium and Chill Out Terrace.

All 14 rooms are totally refurbished in June 2012 and have a flat screen TV of 32´, complete and private bathroom in every room and laminate floor. There are single and double rooms either with twin beds or double beds, smoking and non smoking rooms. The room capacities are from 1 up to 3 persons. All rooms offer you all comfort you need both for your holidays and business trips.

In the surroundings you will find all kinds of restaurants, bars, shops as well as a municipal market where you can walk around and see the locals doing their everyday purchases of fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables. At 15 minutes walking distance you can find the beautiful shopping centre El Muelle with its cinema, paddle courts, brand stores, restaurants, Mc Donald,…

Apart from this, the area offers all kinds of sports, surfing, windsurfing, fishing, diving, sailing,… these are only a few of the several sports practiced on the island. There are also two golf courses about 10 Km from the hostel.
