Winterfeldt Schokoladen – Berlin
Not the usual cup of cocoa
Who can say no to deliciously crafted chocolate? Especially if we are talking about the exceptional chocolate variations in Natscha Kespys store or the much sought-after hot chocolate. The store itself – an old heritage-protected pharmacy – is as impressive as the assorted range of products.
Once stocked with medication, you’ll nowadays wander past shelfs filled with rewarded chocolates, bio and fair trade products, drinking chocolate, coating, chocs, broken chocolate, kosher chocolate and much more. The store offers more than 1,000 varieties. At first sight the products may seem a little pricy, considering the premium quality they’re well worth it!
Besides chocolaty temptations, the store also offers a wide range of fruit gums, teas, caramels, nougat and salt.
Give in to your personal longing for chocolate in Winterfeldts Café. It’s connected to the shop and offers a hot chocolate menu featuring 20 different sorts and various ways of preparation (Italian, Dutch, French, Spanish and counting). Also the flavours are thoughtful and intriguing; ranging from nut nougat and almond mixtures through to cashew caramel. Plus the drinking chocolates are refined with exotic spices such as ginger, chili, nutmeg or cardamom.
Very soon customers will be given another choice. Presenting the Single Origin Menu: enabling customers to not only choose the sort of chocolate and flavor, but also to select the origin of the cacao bean.
Heavenly!
