Syracuse, the ancient Greek city, capital of Baroque, a small sunny port surrounded by the sea. That is where the Musciara Siracusa Resort is.

Reserved for adults only, the ancient Maison d'hotes is bright and elegantly renovated. You just have to breathe its exclusive and private atmosphere and enjoy its unique location right on the sea.

The Maison is charmingly furnished thanks to the work of native skilled craftsmen: local stone arches, whitened ceilings, fine fabrics. Eleven rooms, all with breathtaking view, and the Suite with two large terraces, one of which overhanging the sea, are located right across the private beach.

The warm weather from April to end of October makes this little spot, built in one of the most historically celebrated streets, a real heaven! The Resort also offers the possibility to stay in one of our 3 apartments, that all enjoy sea view, located 50m from the Maison.

A small port located in a bay named “Lakkios” by the ancients because it is completely covered with precious marble and decorated by columns. That is where the Resort was born: on the sea, or better, on water!

The only resort in Syracuse with beach where you can sunbathe all the year round.

The Resort is situated in an enviable location with a breathtaking view over the island of Ortigia. In order to fully enjoy its beautiful panoramas, we suggest you to get there with one of the boats moored along the quay. In such case, it is possible, upon request, to dock on the property equipped pier.

The Resort is just a few steps away from Ortigia, where you can go shopping, just walk around and breathe its baroque atmosphere, or stay up late at night and have fun in crowded pubs.

The beach is just right in front of the Maison Musciara and is open 8 months per year. It is equipped with all the comforts: beach towels ,beach beds, beach umbrellas, outdoor showers and toilets, lounge bar. Sea lovers can enjoy transparent warm water even in Autumn.

For “sweet doing nothing” lovers there are comfortable beach beds, ambient music, beach service and a breathtaking view over the island of Ortigia!

When possible, we suggest you to experience the unforgettable “pieds dans l’eau” aperitif at sunset, or late at night, when the moon is high in the sky and fishers go offshore with their “lampara” lamps hunting squid.
