Van der Valk Hotel ’s-Hertogenbosch – Vught

A beautiful classic hotel with excellent, friendly service. The room is very large and has a terrace. The restaurant area is very large, but unfortunately the quality of service varies from waiter to waiter.

I find the price for this hotel/room a bit excessive.

We ate at the restaurant on two evenings. On the first evening, the service was “okay,” but the waiter didn't know much about the standard dishes on the menu or which gins were available. On the second evening, we had an excellent waitress who knew everything and made good recommendations. That's how different it can be when you have such a HUGE restaurant.
