Designed by the famous architect Kenzo Tange and Associates - Tokyo, Romeo is the most innovative hotel of Naples. The perfect union between contemporary architecture, new and sophisticated design, luxury antiques and art works.
At the end of 2008, after a total refurbishment and restoration of the famous Palazzo Lauro, the Romeo hotel was inaugurated.It is located in front of the Port of Naples where the ferries depart for the islands of Capri and Ischia, only a short distance away from Castel Nuovo, Piazza del Plebiscito and the San Carlo Theatre; a 10 min. walking distance to the historical centre of the city.
With the beginning of 2011, the establishment has launched new outlets confirming its exclusivity among Italian and the international hospitality scenario: the luxury 1000 square meters SPA Dogana del Sale, the new Skybar and restaurant Beluga, on the 9th floor with astonishing views over the Bay of Naples.

ART & STYLE

Many renowned names from the world of art and contemporary design helped create and define the Romeo. Works of artists such as Francesco Clemente, Lello Esposito, Sergio Fermariello, Mario Schifano, Gregorio Botta and Mimmo Paladino are exposed in strategic areas of the hotel. To celebrate Naples, eight famous photographers, such as Vincenzo Castella, Mimmo Jodice, Pino Musi and Antonio Biasiucci were asked to portray the city with exclusive images placed in the foyer of the hotel’s conference area as a permanent photo exhibition. Rich fabrics and furnishings “Made in Italy”, such as Caprai linen, B&B, Citterio and Frau, as well as precious marbles and woods, give the hotel an incomparable excellence. Antiquities from the XIV and XVII Centuries mixed with a contemporary style, define a truly unique ambiance.
