Hotel Ten Cate is once again run by the Family ten Cate. After an absence of 11 years, the previous owners have returned from the south of France to run the Hotel Ten Cate once again, once started by grandfather ten Cate. We welcome familiar guests from the past and hope to meet new guests in the future.
Where it concerns overnight stays for your staff and/or customers, a business lunch or dinner, a meeting with your colleagues or just a cup of coffee, you are more then welcome.

Our restaurant has a peacefull and warm ambiance which is very typical for the Drenthe region.
Our Chef prepares his food in a classical way and is inspired by the regional and international cuisine. Our Host can advise you and will bring the culinairy surprises to your table the perfect way.
The Hotel Restaurant ten Cate has special hotel arrangements the whole year around for a nice weekend get away or just for a break and/or holiday. Come and visit the Emmen Zoo, walk over tree tops and find out everything there is to know about peat and how it was claimed in our Peat museum.

The hotel has a inner garden terrace which can be accessed from both our bar and restaurant.
