Princeton, New Jersey is, by anyones definition, a true college town.  Princeton has shared its name with the world renowned university since the school moved here in 1756 from Elizabeth, New Jersey.  Princeton University specializes in undergraduate education, and offers several graduate degree programs, such as that awarded through the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.  Other institutions of higher education in Princeton include the Westminster Choir College, Princeton Theological Seminary, the Institute for Advanced Study and Mercer County Community College in nearby West Windsor. Opinion Research Corporation was founded here by Claude Robinson and George Gallup in 1938 and remains in Princeton today.  Gallup, however, left the firm in 1939 to form his own organization.  Given Princetons affiliation with academics, its no surprise that the not-for-profit creator of numerous standardized tests, Educational Testing Services, or ETS, is headquartered in here.  ETS is responsible for designing tests, such as the GRE and SAT, which are used in determining entrance into graduate and undergraduate schools.
