The railroad played a big role in Kansas Citys growth, so it comes as no surprise that Union Station has been turned into a popular tourist attraction. You can spend the entire day here, visiting the Engineerium, where children learn to build, or taking in the star show at the Gottlieb Planetarium. Union Station is also home to Science City, an amazing attraction where you can ride a bike 30 feet above the ground, pilot a space shuttle and enjoy numerous other fun activities.
