With the second largest university campus in the nation, Ohio State University is a prominent part of life in Columbus. Thanks to a student population of over 52,000, this main campus has a positive impact on the livability of Columbus. Fans of all types of collegiate sports love coming to Columbus, because an Ohio State Buckeyes game always excites. Columbus has some of the most unique sports programs in the country. In addition to professional teams in hockey, arena football and soccer, the Columbus Clippers are the Triple A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. Columbus is also home to the Arnold Classic, an annual fitness expo hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Racing enthusiasts will want to head for Columbus Motor Speedway, one of just two NASCAR sanctioned tracks in Ohio.
