Lage
Cringletie House is situated above Eddleston water just some 19 miles south of the Scottish capital Edinburgh and 2 miles north of the Royal Burgh of Peebles. Cringlitie's proximity to Edinburgh presents easy access to many attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle, numerous museums, the Royal Yacht Britannia, not to mention the Edinburgh festivals. The historic market town of Peebles lies in a picture book setting on the River Tweed. Flanked by the Meldon Hills, the Tweed and Glentress Forest, it is famed for it's buzzing town centre, the arts and crafts and the newly opened Eastgate Theatre.

Via A720 (City of Edinburgh bypass). Leave the bypass for the A702 direction Biggar. At fork stay left for A703 Peebles. Continue through Penicuik and Eddleston. Cringletie House is on the right hand side.
Ausgangspunkt: Newcastle area
Head for the A696 to Jedburgh. At Elishaw continue along A68. Close to Melrose turn left onto A6061 direction Galashiels. At Galashiels take A72 direction Peebles. At Peebles roundabout turn right onto A703 direction Edinburgh. After 2 miles Cringletie House is on the left hand side.
Ausgangspunkt: Carlisle area
Head for M74 to Glasgow. Leave motorway at exit 15 for Moffat. Take the A701 scenic route to Edinburgh. At Drumelzier turn right onto B712 direction Peebles. Turn right onto the A72. Through Peebles, at roundabout turn left onto A703 direction Edinburgh. After 2 miles Cringletie House is on the left hand side.
