Lage
Hotel Montecarlo is located on the corner between Via Palestro and Via Montebello about 600m from Termini Station and Piazza della Repubblica and just a few steps away from the British Embassy. Via Veneto; Fontana di Trevi and the Spanish Steps are just a short walk away from the hotel. Castro Pretorio Metro Station is about 400m away and the major buses run from Termini Station which is really close by.

At Piazza Umberto Nobile take the 1st exit onto Via Alessandro Guidoni. At Piazza dei 13 Aviatori Caduti a Kindu take the 1st exit onto the Via Mario De Bernardi ramp. Merge onto Via Mario De Bernardi. Continue on A91. Continue on Viadotto della Magliana. Take the ramp to Via Cristoforo Colombo. Turn right at Via Cristoforo Colombo. Continue on Viale dell Industria. Turn left at Via Cristoforo Colombo. Turn right to stay on Via Cristoforo Colombo. Continue on Viale delle Terme di Caracalla. Bear right at Piazzale Numa Pompilio. Continue on Via della Folgarella. Continue straight to stay on Via della Folgarella. Continue on Via di Ciampino-SS7dir and continue to follow Via di Ciampino. Bear right at Via Appia Nuova-SS7. Merge onto A90-E80 via the ramp to SS215-Tuscolana-E45-A1-Napoli-Firenze-A24-L Aquila-A25-Pescara. Take exit 14 toward Roma-Tangenziale Est-A24 -L AquIla -Teramo-A25-Pescara-E35-E45-A1-Firenze-Napoli. Keep left at the fork to continue toward A24. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for Roma-Tangenziale Est and merge onto A24. Take the exit toward Via Tiburtina. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for SS5. Turn right at Via Tiburtina.       Die Verbindung zum Hotel vom Bahnhof Termini ist auch mit Gepäck gut zu bewerkstelligen. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Das Personal an der Rezeption war überweigend sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, einen Safe gab es auf dem Zimmer nicht. Als Ausgangspunkt zum bestaunen der Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom ist die Lage des Hotels ideal, 3 Metrostationen vom Colosseum entfernt.

      Das Frühstücksbuffet ist eher durftig ausgefallen. An manchen Tagen musste man auf Brot, Brötchen, Aufschnitt, Getränke, Teller, Tassen etc. und Sitzmöglickeiten an abgeräumten Tischen einige Minuten warten.
