An avant-garde hillside palace with far-reaching city views, Miramar Barcelona is a restored landmark originally built in 1929 for the World Fair. Situated above the Las Ramblas neighbourhood it offers spacious rooms with balconies and Jacuzzis, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a bar and restaurant serving fine catalan and international cuisine.
The commanding exterior is refreshingly unusual. A blend of modern layered blocks of stone and glass extend either side of the original imposing central facade. There is a stunning outdoor pool with all-day bar service, and the rooms and suites are large and light, decorated in chocolates and creams with big windows and lovely views.
