Discount for journalists

Press discount on hotel.de

As part of a special reward scheme for journalists, you are entitled to an additional discount of 5% on the already reduced hotel rates offered by hotel.de. If as a journalist you wish to book at the special rates through hotel.de you must first sign up to the Partner Programme (as"Business Type“ then please select "Journalist") .

When and how do I receive a reduction as a journalist?

As a journalist you pay the hotel rate as booked through hotel.de to the hotel. The 5% rebate for journalists (with max. one accompanying person) will then be refunded to you afterwards through the Partner Programme. For authentication please send a copy of your Press Card by e-mail in advance to (press@hotel.de) or by fax (+49-911-59832-11). The refund will take palce once you have accrued a balance of €50 or more. A balance less than €50 will be accrued in your account and transferred as soon as €50 has been reached. You can always view your balance online in the Affiliate Centre.

How can I make a booking?

• Please log in to the "For Affiliate Partners“ area in the Affiliate Centre, where you can book using the "Make a booking“ tab. Alternatively you can use your personalised partner link. You will receive a confirmation of your registration via email.
• You cannot receive special journalist discounts on phone bookings.
