Application process
In order to satisfy the needs and expectations of the various areas of activity within hotel.de we seek applicants with a variety of qualifications.
Generally the application process is as follows:
On receipt of your application you will receive a confirmation from us. Our Human Resources consultants will check the suitability of your qualifications for the job advertised or in the case of an application made on your own initiative will check same for the selected area of activity within the company. Once this check has been completed successfully your application will be passed to the relevant department by our HR consultants. Within two weeks our HR consultants will contact you with their first feedback.
If your profile fits our needs we shall invite you for an interview in our office. For some positions we also have a short telephone interview first of all. For some jobs we need to get to know you better. For this reason we sometimes ask you to work for a short time with us on a trial basis after the first interview. In some areas we shall also have a second interview with you. When we are both satisfied and we have discussed the contractual details we shall send you a contract of employment and we can look forward to successfully working together.
Tips for your interview
Find out about our company before the interview (area of activity, office locations, number of employees, type of company and management, etc.), as well as the job offered and the person with whom you will meet. To ensure that you arrive punctually for your interview we would recommend that you drive the route to the office beforehand or at least plan for unexpected delays en route.
The interviews at hotel.de normally last between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the job in question. Firstly we introduce ourselves. Then you will have the opportunity to talk us through your career to date. After this both we and you will have the chance to ask questions. Finally we will give more detailed information about hotel.de as an employer and explain your future tasks in as much detail as possible. The aim of such an interview is for both parties to get to know one another better. We shall also want to know why you think that you will be the right choice for us. After the interview we shall need a maximum of two weeks before we inform you of our decision. Similarly we shall be pleasd to receive your feedback on the interview and the possible job with us.
